The fourth and final preseason game is tonight. With starting jobs and roles already locked up and assigned the battle will come down to who else will make the roster. Most of the starters will be on the sidelines relaxing while some players will be fighting for their lives to be a part of the team. This is going to be the last audition for these players to prove that they belong on the 53 man roster as the final decision will have to be made by 9:00 PM on August 31st, their last chance to be a Dallas Cowboy. Most of these players have never been cut at anything before so the pressure is on. They know that they are just fingertips away from accomplishing their goal. Bring your “A” game because nothing else will do. You can not afford to leave anything out there on the field. Rookies like Andrew Szerba, Lance Dunbar, Ben Bass and Adrain Hamilton will have one more shot to show what they bring to the table in a game setting. We know that all these players are chasing the dream, but which one is going to catch it? And make no doubt about it, there will be some Veterans who are trying to prove themselves as well. No one like to be cut, but that it is the nature of the NFL. There are only so many spots available, and to make a team you have to be at the top of your game. No Veteran wants to be left off the cast for the 2012 Dallas Cowboys.
